British Airways to offer intra-US business jet connections

British Airways is opening an exclusive business-jet service in North America to give premium customers onward access to destinations within the USA and other parts of the continent.
The airline is establishing the service, designated PrivateConnect, in partnership with Cessna division CitationAir.
BA says the service will operate on an instantaneous pay-per-trip basis, taking advantage of a fleet of business aircraft.

India’s Delhi International Airports gets new FBO

India's Delhi International airport has selected aviation services provider Shaurya Aeronautics to set up a fixed base operation at the site.
Shaurya, which was awarded the licence in April, is now operating out of the airport's general aviation lounge at Terminal 1D. It also has bases in Kolkata, Manali and Trivandrum. Gama expands aviation and support service – Glasgow FBO to open in May 2011

The Gama Group reports that the expansion of its aviation and support services is on schedule. Marwan Khalek, ceo, says the group's first European FBO at Glasgow is due for completion by May 2011. It will have a new 2,000 sq m heated hangar, office space and a passenger handling facility.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently signed an agreement with Beijing-based Deer Jet Co. LTD to support the company’s growing fleet of Gulfstream aircraft. IATA Blasts Europe’s Handling of the Volcanic Ash Crisis

Geneva - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) called on European governments and air navigation service providers to urgently develop more precise procedures to identify ash contaminated air space and allow more flights. Jordan’s Arab Wings signs for new Legacy 650

Jordan's Arab Wings signed an order for an Embraer Legacy 650 jet this morning on behalf of an undisclosed Jordanian owner. Arab Wings will manage and operate the aircraft.
The jet is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2010. It will be based in and operate out of Jordan. Arab Wings will also add a Phenom 100 entry level jet to its fleet this year.
