Jet Aviation’s US charter operations certified as US Part 135 Air Carrier

Jet Aviation has announced that the company will operate its US charter division under its own US Part 135 Air Carrier certificate as Jet Aviation Flight Services, Inc., effective immediately. Jet Aviation Flight Services has been awarded a Platinum safety rating by Aviation Research Group (ARG/US) and has earned IS-BAO certification.

Jet Aviation Pares Down Basel, Switzerland Staff

Jet Aviation this week laid off 94 full-time employees at its completions and maintenance facility in Basel, Switzerland. The employees were allowed to leave work immediately yesterday but will be paid for another two or three months, depending on the terms of their contracts.

Jet Aviation Dubai Adds Hawker 4000 and Global Express Approvals

Jet Aviation Dubai recently received maintenance approvals on Hawker 4000 and Global Express aircraft. Both approvals were obtained in response to strong customer demand; the first service appointment for each type of aircraft has already been received.
