Cash-strapped JetBird puts staff on protective notice

Air taxi start-up Jetbird has put about 40 staff on protective notice as it battles to secure funding for the commercial launch of its low-cost, pan-European, no-frills operation. JetBird’s Start-up Grounded by Delays at Embraer

Production delays at Embraer’s factory and an associated bottleneck in the pilot training process for its new Phenom 100 light jet have delayed the service launch of air-taxi firm JetBird.
