London Oxford Airport invests in major new apron development

London Oxford Airport will shortly start work to create a further 17,800m2 (4.4 acres) of new high strength apron. At the same time it is resurfacing a further 5,000m2 of established surfaces with both projects scheduled for completion by year end.

London Oxford Airport To Build MRO Facility

Oxford Airport, some 40 miles northwest of London in the UK, has broken ground on a 47,700-sq-ft, three-bay hangar, making it the largest facility built at the airport to date. It will increase the total hangar space available at the airport to 240,500 sq ft.

Flairjet set to start commercial operations within weeks

UK business aircraft charter start-up FlairJet has taken delivery of the first two UK-registered Embraer Phenom 100 business jets and is set to become the first company in Europe to operate the very light jet commercially.
“We hope to clinch our aircraft operator’s certificate this month and begin services before the end of the year,” says FlairJet chief executive David Fletcher.
